If you would like to
make a file downloadable for people visiting your site, simply
copy the file to your docs or any docs subdirectory and place a
link to it. Any file that is not recognized by a browser will
cause the browser to give the user an option to save the file to
disk. It is best to compress the files for users to download. To
save your data transfer, you will probably want to link directly
to files available on remote Internet sites.
